Welcome to Smart Call Logger (SCL). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Smart Call Logger mobile application ("App") developed by Mandal Digital ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Smart Call Logger, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Smart Call Logger is a mobile application designed to automatically monitor, organize, and backup your call history. The App provides features including:

• Real-time call log monitoring using ContentObserver and Accessibility Service
• Automatic backup to your personal Google Drive account
• Local backup creation when internet is unavailable
• Comprehensive call detection (incoming, outgoing, missed, rejected, blocked)
• Background monitoring services that persist after device reboot
• Material Design 3 user interface for modern user experience
• Room database for local storage and offline access

3. User Eligibility

3.1 Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use Smart Call Logger. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you must have parental consent to use the App.

3.2 Legal Compliance

You must use the App in compliance with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations.

4. Permitted Use

You may use Smart Call Logger for personal call management and backup purposes. Permitted uses include:

• Monitoring and backing up your personal call history
• Creating automatic backups to your Google Drive account
• Analyzing your communication patterns for personal use
• Accessing call logs offline through local storage
• Managing call logs through the app's interface

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Using the App for any unlawful purpose or to violate privacy laws
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
• Using the App to monitor calls without proper legal authority
• Interfering with or disrupting the App's services or Google Drive API
• Distributing malware, viruses, or harmful code through the App
• Violating any applicable privacy laws or regulations
• Using automated scripts or bots to access the App
• Sharing or distributing other people's call logs without consent

6. Privacy and Data Protection

6.1 Data Collection and Use

Smart Call Logger accesses your device's call log with your explicit permission and stores it locally on your device. Optionally, it can backup this data to your personal Google Drive account.

6.2 Accessibility Service

The app may use Android's Accessibility Service to ensure comprehensive call detection. This service:

• Only monitors phone/dialer applications
• Does not access content from other apps
• Is used solely for call detection purposes
• Can be disabled at any time through Android settings
• Complies with Google Play Store accessibility policies

6.3 Google Drive Integration

When you enable Google Drive backup:

• Data is sent directly to your personal Google Drive account
• You maintain full ownership and control of your backup files
• The app uses only the permissions necessary for backup operations
• You can revoke access at any time through Google account settings

6.4 Consent and Legal Compliance

By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your call log data as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the App complies with all applicable privacy laws in your jurisdiction.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1 App Ownership

Smart Call Logger and all related intellectual property rights are owned by Pikai Mandal. This includes but is not limited to:

• Source code, algorithms, and software architecture
• User interface design and user experience elements
• App name, logos, and associated branding
• Documentation and instructional materials

7.2 License Grant

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

• Download and install the App on your personal devices
• Use the App for personal call logging and backup purposes
• Access features and functionalities as provided

7.3 User Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of your call log data. The App merely provides tools to organize, store, and backup your personal information.

8. App Functionality and Limitations

8.1 Service Availability

Smart Call Logger operates primarily on your device and does not require internet connectivity for basic functionality. However:

• Google Drive backup requires internet connection
• Initial Google Drive authentication requires internet
• Local functionality works offline

8.2 Device Compatibility

The App is designed for Android devices and requires:

• Android API level 24 (Android 7.0) or higher
• Permission to access call logs
• Optional accessibility service for enhanced detection
• Optional Google account for cloud backup

8.3 Backup Limitations

While we strive for reliable backup functionality:

• Google Drive backup depends on Google's service availability
• Local backups are subject to device storage limitations
• Network connectivity may affect backup timing
• We recommend regular manual verification of backups

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

9.1 Service Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• 100% backup success in all scenarios
• Compatibility with all Android devices and versions
• Availability of Google Drive service

9.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

• Loss of call log data due to device failure
• Interruption of backup services
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Issues arising from third-party services (Google Drive)

10. Updates and Modifications

We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Updates may include:

• Bug fixes and performance improvements
• New features and functionality
• Security enhancements
• Changes to comply with legal requirements

Your continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Termination

You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Upon termination:

• All local data will be removed from your device
• Google Drive backups will remain under your control
• You may need to manually revoke app permissions
• Background services will be stopped

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
